VE DAY - 8th May 2025

80th Anniversary of VE Day Celebrations

 

We had a terrific VE Day in school this week. The children enjoyed a range of challenges and experiences throughout the day including a street party lunch, our Beardall Beacon of Peace, Commando Joe challenge, field of games including games past and present and a whole host of learning about the day itself 80 years ago.

The children had to complete their own VE Day challenge passport with everything that they had to do so we hope you were able to discuss with them what they did and learnt on the day.
