Goose Fair Day - Friday 27^th September

Today, to recognise the start of Goose Fair 2024, we celebrated our very own Beardall Fields Goose Fair day. Children throughout school experienced a funfair entertainer (Bonkers) who juggled whilst eating an apple, cycled a unicycle whilst balancing two glasses and turned into a giant just before lunchtime. The children also had time on our field where there were a range of funfair games, rides and activities for them to enjoy.

Children also learnt about the history of Goose Fair, talking about traditions and how things change or stay the same over time. To top this all off, many children enjoyed a special Goose Fair dinner day. All children had their own checklist of the day which they brought home.
