World Wild Life Fundraising Day

To complete our Broadening Horizons Week, the children in school voted to hold a fundraising day for the World Life Fund for Nature (WWF).  Our whole school community truly came together to support this fantastic cause. Our classes put together class hampers which were raffled off, we took part in a ‘Guess the Panda’ sponsored form and held a non-uniform day, animal themed, to further raise awareness and funds. We had some terrific costumes, large and small, from both the children and staff!! The children also had to complete a special Commando Joe mission where the children had to save the Siamese crocodile which is currently under threat from human activity.

Our children as usual showed their caring and empathetic nature in learning about how we can protect the world for both themselves and future generations to come.

We raised an incredible £831.50 for WWF and just as importantly raised awareness among our school community for the pressing need for conservation.

Have a look at some of our terrific photos from the day.
