19th June - Letter re Year 1 Bubble
As you are aware, a family member of a Y1 teacher has tested positive for Covid 19 and this now means that she must self-isolate and be tested herself. The family member displayed no symptoms, but as part of test and trace, after a colleague became unwell, the family member was requested to take a test.
As our Y1 teacher is now self-isolating and awaiting test results herself, the Group B bubble will remain closed next week.
We will keep you updated throughout the week should there be any change. This does not mean that you or your family should self-isolate at this moment; this will depend on the results of the test or if anyone in your household displays any symptoms. She is absolutely fine at the moment and has not displayed any symptoms herself.
Group A and C bubbles will remain open next week but we understand if you choose not to send your child to school as a precaution. If you choose not to send your child please email firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us.
This is a really difficult time for everyone and we just need to keep everyone as safe as possible.
I thank you for your understanding in this matter and I will keep you fully updated.
